Mr. Alexander Schroll has over 25 years of experience within the aviation industry. After studying Economic Science and Business Administration, he kicked off his pro-fessional career as Marketing Director at Air Germanica. Two years later, in 1996, he joined the traffic development team of Munich Airport – first as Manager and later on as Director of the whole department. Alexander was responsible for acquiring new scheduled airlines and consulting airline network planners, authorities and airports concerning this matter. His focus was on the regions Americas, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In 2016, after being a member of the Munich Airport family for an im-pressive 20 years, he decided to take on a new challenge and became the Chief Ex-ecutive Officer of Castellón Airport. In this role, he was in charge of the overall air-port strategy, safe and secure airport operations, budget management and develop-ing maintenance, engineering and non-aviation business. Since 2018, he is back in Munich and joined the 100% subsidiary of Munich Airport: Munich Airport Interna-tional (MAI). MAI handles all international consultancy, management and training projects of Munich Airport. As Director Americas Alexander is currently setting up a new representative office in Latin America with dedicated local staff while managing the daily business with new and existing clients within his region.
